Start Afresh and Start It Now. Today is  Gudi Padwa  - derived from the Sanskrit name for Chaitra Shukla Pratipad. It's a festival celebrated on the first day of Chaitra month to mark the beginning of the new year according to the Lunisolar Hindu Calendar. I believe that everyday is a new day as a Blessing and as an Opportunity, and nothing can beat living each and every day fully, making each day count. Still, if some people take New Year, be it 1st of January (new year according to Gregorian Calendar) or Gudi Padwa (new year according to Lunisolar Hindu Calendar), a milestone to start with, be it that way.
