Few Things On 15th August...!!!

Hi there... Its 66th Independence Day of India today. Facebook, Whats app, Twitter pages are full with greetings the day to each other. It looks like everyone (Starting from president of India to PM, MP's, M La's and even Councilor of local municipal corporation and yes of course we the People) are in a race to show that how big and how much they love their country or at least to prove that they are not a part of this corrupt system . But I don't know what was stopping me to celebrate this day to the fullest though I have and had always wanted to. I am happy that now people have started saying that "No country is perfect in itself but we have to make it perfect", and its not only Governments duty to make a nation great. I say its Governments duty to make India real free. What? did you just think why? OK! This Government is headed by worlds prominent Economist from last 10 years with his all army including Economic advisers, RBI, Planning Commission, Sta...

Cinema...Television...Society... Us

Mmmm.... from last so many days i'm trying to ignore this thing in my mind but lets face, talk and kick it out of mind. I have noticed few things about our Cinema, Television, Advertising, Society and yes of course this is all about Us. Please notice some examples I'm stating right here- 1. Electronic Media - Isn't it like news channels are creating hyper vibes and increasing violence in each and everyone of us? Why they are spreading each news like hell?? like Nuclear Bomb has been dropped just behind us. 2.. Wild Stone (Telcom Powder) ad - Aapko Mardangi ka Wasta - Analyzing current trend of Indian Advertising Industry; I have reached to the conclusion that there are only 3 basic marketing tools which are magnificently successful now a days and by using these tools you can sell anything in India OR they are intentionally imposing this mentality on consumer (us)? I think both the statements are equally correct!     ...

To love till it hurts ? : By Eshla

It’s that time of the year when everyone remembers their so-called “loved ones.” They equip them with mementos, gifts, Christmas  parties – all in celebration of their love for one another. But, it’s only fleeting. Just a few weeks of joy, mirth, and gaiety. But isn't love a bit more? Love is to let go, I’ve been told. Love is to let be, I’ve been told. Love is to endure hardships, I’ve been told. But, if there is so much angst and heartache, then why do we choose to love? Or is that so few love to this extent? There is the famous saying by Mother Theresa that if you love until it hurts, it doesn’t hurt anymore, for it’s there only that you find more love. But do we really retain the capacity to love to that depth? We’re a generation and a world clogged by the daily clutter of life, the daily “busyiness” of life, that our love only seems to surface when we can accommodate it or when an emergency strikes. If we are such rational creatures, driven ...

Ray of Hope !

What a spectacular end of a series! Truly amazing and heart touching, with talking on the truth and facts without any intention to hurt anybody or to blame anyone. Yes, it was the last episode of 'Satyamev Jayate' themed - 'The Idea of India- We The People' hosted by Aamir Khan. I saw the last episode of this very warm, heart touching television show, with the objective of not to blame anybody but just to improve our Society, Humanity, To improve life of a very citizen & as a Nation in whole. In this last episode they shown and introduced the people who are working continuously, consistently to make India a better place, a country which our freedom fighters imagined in their eyes, when they had compromised & shake hands with death holding the magical smile on their faces. Out of so many examples one was - The lady who lost her husband (who was a daily wage worker) due to lack of immediate medication because of the lack of money and then she had to sent...

Satyamev Jayate

Satyamev Jayate It was amazing for a kinda person like me to go at someone Else's home just to see a TV show! no no.. let me correct it a bit, it was not an ordinary show nor the man was an ordinary who was hosting the show. The show was - Satyamev Jayate and hosted by my favourite actor and ideal none other than - Aamir Khan. I was knowing that it would not be an ordinary TV show, the moment i read about this in news papers and i watched it's small promos, my eagerness was getting stronger. And one fine day i saw its official song , i was showered with an amazing kind of feeling about this man and my country as well. And yesterday it was the day when show was aired on television through out the country (on National channel as well, on the same time), i was glued to the TV from its starting to the end. He raised common subject of 'Female feticide', but the way he raised this issue was amazing, no one could have done this in this way other than him. I have re...
