Cinema...Television...Society... Us
Mmmm.... from last so many days i'm trying to ignore this thing in my mind but lets face, talk and kick it out of mind.
I have noticed few things about our Cinema, Television, Advertising, Society and yes of course this is all about Us. Please notice some examples I'm stating right here-
1. Electronic Media - Isn't it like news channels are creating hyper vibes and increasing violence in each and everyone of us? Why they are spreading each news like hell?? like Nuclear Bomb has been dropped just behind us.
2.. Wild Stone (Telcom Powder) ad - Aapko Mardangi ka Wasta - Analyzing current trend of Indian Advertising Industry; I have reached to the conclusion that there are only 3 basic marketing tools which are magnificently successful now a days and by using these tools you can sell anything in India OR they are intentionally imposing this mentality on consumer (us)? I think both the statements are equally correct!
A. Sex
B. Religion
C. Emotions
Apart from this there are N number of examples in this category, I bet you just see any ad and you will realize the thing I'm saying here.
3. We are going through a turnaround and that too so fast that we don't even have time to think what is right and whats wrong? We are on high urge to break old rules and regulations but for what??? Now we are blank... Isn't it? We are overloaded with Information, New Fashion, Trends, Item Songs, Movies, New Stores, Malls, Cars, Bikes, Clothing's Hotels, Pubs, Honey Singh, KFC, Domino's McDonald's Patch ups, Break ups,... n more n many more.
So why the scenario is like this? Who is responsible for this thing? My and correct opinion is WE are the only responsible for this. We never filtered things which were coming to us. Once great Steve Jobs had told - FOCUS is the key to success and lets admit we have failed to focus, concentrate on our Relationships, Jobs, Exams, Research, Entertainment and everything.
Why In USA films are made like that? because America and Americans are like that only. In India films are being made like this just because we are like this. Cinema is the mirror of society not vice versa. We are so weak to admit what actually we are? We want Item song in each movie but we only stops our daughters and girls to wear western outfits. India is a country where women are worship in a form of goddess then why women and girls need to fight for their rights? Why they are being raped every here and there? why this double game? Why two face? This is because we are living in a fake world made by us only in which we lifelong run far and far from truth and reality.
