My Hero Dr Kalam
Truly sad day in my life 27.07.2015 (07:45 PM, IIM Shilong,
India), today I have lost my Hero Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of
India, Bharat Ratna, A Scientist, A Teacher and moreover a true Human Being. I emphasized
a true Human Being because this is and should be the first priority of all of
us being a human on this earth and how beautifully and effortlessly he achieved
that highest point of being a true Human Being.
A man who has remembered the teachings given by their ancestors in an unique way by adding their initials with his name A-Avul (Grand
Grandfather), P-Pakir(Grandfather) and J-Jainulabdeen (Father) APJ Abdul Kalam.
He was a Kalam (A melodious song, Prayer to God) composed by God himself and sent him on earth for mankind to convey and to learn his teachings.
We all know Dr. Kalam used to call and likes to call himself
too as a Teacher even after becoming the President and so like many others he
was one of my favorite teacher too. This only could be the wish of God that you
departed from this world while doing your favorite thing i.e. giving lecture. Dr.
Kalam believed in youth, believed in us and to motivate them he consistently
used to come at IIM Indore to give lecture. Fortunately I was doing MBA in
Indore and every time I also used to go to listen to my favorite teacher.
Sir, I bow before you and I salute you for inspiring us to
see dreams and to live to fulfill that big dream, for giving so much love to this
country India and its citizens and for showing to the world and to the mankind
the meaning of a true Human Being by your own life.
Dearest Dr. Kalam, like your many other students I am too
feeling so heavy in my heart and do not have more words to say but as your obedient
student I promise you to keep seeing dreams, keep trying to convert them into reality
and will keep trying to become a better human being because I know only that
will be the true tribute to you Dear Sir, My Hero, Dear Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. I
Love You Sir!
The Vision
I climbed and climbedWhere is the peak, my Lord?
I ploughed and ploughed,
Where is the knowledge treasure, my Lord?
I sailed and sailed,
Where is the island of peace, my Lord?
Almighty, bless my nation
With vision and sweat resulting into happiness
A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
आँखों से आंसू
में गिरने नहीं
दूंगा।
आपका सपना कभी
खोने नहीं दूंगा।। Your Beloved student
