Thing Scares Most

Golu! Came the voice from outside home when I was dressing up for the work. I tilt my head to see who's calling my younger brother Golu?

A thin man was standing outside wearing pale yellowish white traditional farmer's clothing and yes I recognized him too. He was our neighbor and have seen this man from childhood, always full of energy and ready to shoot. Never seen him taking off from work or on holiday, totally workaholic. A general person who loves routine and monotonous life.

But today I saw something unusual in his behavior. He was not seeing things but trying to feel through his senses. First time I saw him standing with lack of confidence, so low and dependent. The fear had taken place in his eyes in stead of bravery and shine. The emotions I saw on his face cannot be described.

I saw and felt the above all things in a fraction of second. A lightening went through my spine and this was the moment I felt scared in long time. A storm of thoughts went through my mind. A billion things, possibilities went through in front of my eyes.

I'm aware to the fact that we're here for a limited time period but haven't felt ever this fact so strongly. I just started mesmerizing that covert into shouting soon stating why people don't realize that we're not immortal and our heartbeat can stop at any point of time? then too we forget this very fact and live life in a best possible mediocre way.

Life is much more than getting in morning, having meal thrice a day and sleeping in night to repeat the same thing tomorrow. Life is even much more than earning money to afford a lifestyle, paying monthly bills and some savings for the future.

Life is rather enjoying the journey than reaching to the destiny. It's about taking risk, doing the things your heart beats for, having passion for some or other thing, making this world more beautiful, spreading love and goodness and many many more.

I bet nothing is more painful than not living life in your own way. time is gone once it's gone forever, you cannot reset it. This is the thing scares most. I saw the pain of this thing my neighbor's eyes today. Remember, this is the one and only life we have, live it wisely.
