BANA - The Two Leaders

You must be thinking what this word BANA is? This is a Rajasthani word meaning a leader of any concerned community and I have used it for President Barack Obama and PM Narendra Modi by using their two initials – BANA. It’s obvious that everyone is talking about President Obama’s visit of India and so 24*7 news channels are also busy in observing, discussing and doing postmortem of his each move and each word he said. But tell you what if you are interested to give ear to all this then only listen when Obama or Modi speaks live not to these self claimed specialists.

There were some not so obvious things happen this time like, First time in history a lady officer from Indian Air Force Wing Commander Puja Thakur lead guard of honor to the American president, This was also first time in history when lady troops from Indian Army, Air Force and Navy walked on the Rajpath keeping their heads high with proud. There were also some other moments when we saw ladies standing in their crisp uniforms, saluting Indo American presidents along side fighter planes, choppers and what not. I heard that PM Modi had given instruction to make this years Republic Parade dedicated and focused on 52% population of Great India i.e. Indian Women.

Today morning I was listening live to Obama when he was speaking at Siri Fort, once again I get to know that he is truly a great leader and public speaker. He is still having that charisma in his voice, thoughts and actions we saw it first when he was contending for American Presidential election. He said I am a grandson of a cook who used to work in Kenyan Army, And Narendra Modi is a son of a Tea maker and now they are leading world’s oldest and biggest democracies respectively. He also mentioned few points which were nevertheless important.
·

  • A country can be direct measured by how they treat their women.
  • Everyone is free to accept, follow and worship the religion one believes in.
  • Took the names of Mahatma Gandhi for non violence, Swami Vivekananda for bringing Hunduism and Yoga to his land, Shahrukh Khan, Milkha Singh and Mary Kom for our cultural diversification and unity both.
  • He also added that we all are the flowers which belongs to same garden, we all are branches of same devine tree.
  • He told that a country become great when it stands for its every individual, by providing opportunities and giving chance to its people they deserve.
  • It’s our biggest responsibility to make sure every child have pure water to drink and breaths clean air.
  • He promised to help India for providing a better life to its every citizen through Technology, Nuclear Power and Medicine.
  • Supports India for its permanent membership in United Nations.

In all he tried his best and conveyed a message that dreams must not die, we are together and will support in the best possible manner to make our biggest dream true i.e. a better India, a better world to live in.

Truly said – A true leader is judged and identified by when he uplifts the lives of others.
